This is a recipe my mom developed for the kid’s breakfast. I love it with yogurt and honey, and the kids eat it like it’s candy in the mornings.
1/2 cup shredded cocoanut
5 cups oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 honey
Heat the oven to 300.
Melt the butter, honey, and vanilla together in a sauce pan until the butter has melted. In a large mixing bowl mix together the almonds, oats, and cocoanut. Pour the melted butter mixture over the oat mixture, mix to combine.
Spread the granola mixture on a cookie sheet, and bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until dry and golden.

Homemade granola is the best! The large flaked coconut looks tasty!
This looks delicious! I’ve never made granola before, but it doesn’t seem that difficult
It’s super easy! I like to add dried cherries after the granola has been baked.
So simple. Love it!
