hapenings: best chai latte ever
In Old Colorado City there is this little coffee shop that has the best chai latte you may ever encounter. Smooth and creamy. Whenever I may happen upon an opportunity, I am sure to snatch a cup from the cozy place.

cookbook: sneak peek
I just have to show you how my cook is coming along. I am LOVING writing this book. You’re encouragement, it makes me so so so excited!

recipe: peach crisp
This is the dessert that I made. I used brown sugar, and of corse, I have to quadruple this batch. It was a hit!
recipe: oven fries
After slicing my hand once, burning myself twice, we had dinner! Yay! This is the main side we had tonight. Super easy, super yummy, potatoes are fun!
- 4 potatoes, peeled, sliced
- a dousing of olive oil
- Garlic Salt
- 1/2 cup Diced onion
Toss potatoes, olive oil, garlic salt, and onion. Spread into a large cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes, or until for tender.

COSTCO! Yeah this is how it’s done. We got all that stuff into that tiny, little, ittey-bitty, car.

happenings: cooking in colorado
I am getting ready to leave for a two week long cookery adventure. I am cooking for two weeks at a photography camp for over twenty students, in Colorado. I *hope* to post some of the recipes that I will be cooking. But we’ll see how the schedule is looking once I get the swing of things.
